I have worked with a medium sized trucking company based in the tri-state area of Kentucky, West Virginia, and Ohio since 1999. I am the Information Technology Manager and Software Engineer. I am mostly self-taught (I think anyone in this field is for the most part), most college curriculums fall short in the IT realm.

I do not like to be told that something cannot be done or tell someone else the same thing. Possibilities are endless with technology.

I also cannot stand poor management, at any business, pretty much anywhere. I think many managers fall short on their leadership qualities. Customer Service is another area of complaint that I have, in many American companies the words “Customer Service Department” are a joke

Reading and learning are what keep me going. I have a compulsion to learn and build things, software, frameworks, databases, etc.

Aside from nerd-work, I enjoy mountain biking, exercising, and healthy nutrition.
